How is this for "Hypocrisy"? There are threads that talk about fighting or combating racism. Yet, I have not seen as much many people go post their peaceful replies on it as we do on here. If Dominicans (even thought not all blah blah blah) were not at all racist, how come I have not then seen them storm this forum with peaceful "Let Us Fight Racism & Injustice" in DR be it if it is being done to Haitians or even other Dark Skinned Dominicans? Well guess what... In Haiti, there are several groups that take the streets each day to protest against racism and Classicism that is coming from both the mass black populace and the Elites mulattoes or just Elites period. How many Dominicans & Haitians on here are part of some type of Peaceful Missionary Group or Human Rights Groups? P.S: "The future is not a gift; it is an achievement. I am saying and will continue to say, I am glad the hate can be shifted on me... I do not have a problem with that and no, I never once say I was a messiah, but thanks P.S: "The future is not a gift; it is an achievement. Every generation helps make its own future. Well, Granted and point well taken and as I have said, you much like everyone else are entitled to your and their opinions... and again, I am glad we can know the difference between what is politically correct or incorrect to say on here. So I expect to see a more Dominicans & Haitians Pro-Active steps toward peaceful debate then and more tolerance to reach common grounds then. I suppose there is hope after all, and as the new generation of youths we have an obligation indeed and if we can know this much about civility I say good for all of us and that is good news always. When a person of color decides to make their life's crusade to spread black consciousness, that can be good and well. But when race consciousness completely overrides him; when race dictates everything he sees in music, culture, philosophy, education, history, politics, EVERYTHING he converses about or thinks about...do you know what he has done then? He has sentenced himself to the plantation. He is no better than what you call a house ni**er; perhaps worse because he would rather burn the entire house down than have anything to do with the white sons of the old masters, even though he likely shares their heritage in his blood and language as fully as they do. Just something I hope you think about because you come across on this forum to be someone completely dominated and identified with race consciousness. I would hope that isn't how you are off the internet Manahattinite, I couldn't agree with you more. I wish this post of yours can be made as a sticky. Jesus, mission as the savior of haitian/dominican race relation is beyond me. Everything about you Jesus has to do with race race..and you bash your own supposedly "brother" if he doesn't agree with your ideas. I,too, think you should apologise to Hay as he is just telling you the truth. Dominicans & Haitians with an equilibrium on this site see you know different than Arca & Carlos. Sorry but you aren't not different from them although you feel you are doing something "righteous". Actually you are further perpetuating division among the negros(of all hue) while in your mind you assume your bringing unity. I say a doble cara for you too..hypocrisy at its best..Do as I say not as I do.. Frankly you fucus on solving this race relationship is destroying you internally since you know your mission isn't working the way you want it too..You are want we call stubborn and lash out even hurting your own because of your failure to accomplish your goals. Take heed to Manahattinites post..he is head on and is the truth..im shaking my head like "true". I know how to deal with you cause Im a little tiguere from Ayiti..lol so you know not to try that sh8 with me. Well, Hay doesn't deserve that and others on this forum doesnt either. So it goes beyond race. I never have a problem because of my nationality when I have to show my passport..just a double take..diablo, eres haitiano? I am glad more of you's are reaching grounds and have turned the focus onto something else. It is still surprising that finally you are all working together toward a common goal which is to hate me and I do not mind one bit. I accept the sacrifice to be thrown under the bus as long as it serves the intended purpose I have always had in mind. Let us see for how long will this collaboration last. I sure hope it will remains so and be quite fruitful. So let us catalog this historical Chapter on DominicanToday as a memories event to never forget. Who would have thought of this day where both Haitians & Dominicans would actually have a common goal working hand in hand with such combined participations. I am rejoicing right about now as this brings tears to one's eyes. Thus I say, sure, sure, sure... Yes We Can! The new founding devotion of you all is inspiring and with that perhaps now Haiti & Dr will not go wrong I hope... Indeed 'tis oh a day, what so memorable!!! So it is possible to rid of those made up differences and actually accomplish better greatness for this beautiful Island named Hispaniola. Therefore, I cannot be mad. In fact, I am not mad at all you guys coming at me like that. I welcome it as success toward real steps to reconciliation. Like I said, this is indeed good news and music to my ears P.S: "The future is not a gift; it is an achievement. Every generation helps make its own future.
