Now we need the macho's in Venezuela to get rid of Chavez and then the senile Castro brothers, without the crutch of Chavez oil, Cuba's democracy will finally come to past, for the benefit of all humanity. By now we all know that most of the media is controlled by powerful businesses. Toy Jarto is actually fighting for the things that most posters complaint about here, so lets not discredit them without a reason. Also I think that we are going to see a lot of people harassed by these businesses for causing such public embarrasment to them. These rich people are very vengeful and will go to great lengths to punish anyone who opposes them.. |

For something that has united and energized society for the first time in recent history, that story merits following by all media. Its ok for el caribe and cdn not to even mention los Haitises since they are owned by the same people trying to build la cementera, but for these other newspapers it's unacceptable. Shame on them for not being transparent and bowing down to the rich and powerful. |

Diario Libre is not independent either and it is owned by another group. In our country the media and most "independent" newspapers are owned by big business interests, and it is not healthy for the exercise of free press. We have to thank DT for allowing us to express ourselves so freely, yet some always take advantage of that freedom. It is a real jungle out there. Ignorance is temporary, stupidity lasts forever. |

Diario Libre is owned by Omnimedia, which is owned by the Pellerano family and the people from Induban. They all sleep with each other.... |
