These days the Americanized news/politics programs are OVER-PRODUCED ...too many graphics, tickers, rock songs, personalities and sound effects and very very short on SUBSTANCE. So careful what you wish for, because updated presentation may come at the cost of actual news and information.

Yeah but recycling the same sets from the 70's isn't cute either. I bet if they popped in a tape of Corporan in the 70's and put that on all the time nobody would even notice. How old is he anyway? He's ancient. Here's a good question, what's older the sets on these shows or Corporan?

Supercanal could and should improve it's transmission quality to the States, Telemicro is o.k.
For all the critics out there, please remember that the country is less than 9.5million strong. How much TV diversity could there possible be for an audience of that size? NYC has about the same population and all there is is NY1 and NYCTV.

What can I say, they still use the same Video Toaster from Commodore to make graphics in Color Vision.

Video Toaster was hot back in.... 1990, and they still use it, taking by the kind of computer 'effects' they use.

I dont know your point but to let you know Telemicro had been digital for a long time and is coming in HD next year.
