RE: MISS DOMINICAN REPUBLIC | Throughout the History
Just recently saw the interview of Dulcita on the video posted above, Divertido con Jochy and all I can say is why did she not win first place. Comparing both girls, I like Dulcita so much better.

She is filled out nicely, more meat and better flavor. She carries herself with poise and ease, speaks well, with better diction, beautiful green eyes, college educated and overall has a livelier personality. I found Carlina very pretty but kind of flavorless, with a lower energy level. I now like Dulcita so much better.

I guess the judges paid more attention to Carlina's height and greater bone density rather then her lesser qualities. Overall I believe Dulcita is a much stronger candidate then Carlina. I hope she wins or at least becomes a finalist on the Miss Universe contest .

I know she will become a finalist :yes winner not sure there is better girls with the whole baggage like Puerto Rico Venezuela Mexico ,Colombia . All I know that this scandal is going to effect her placement. Miss Puerto Rico Ingrid Marie Rivera had a scandal that brought world wide attention and it ended up hurting her even though she was really pretty and smart. In the end , shes representing my country and wish her all the best.

I signed the petition in favor of Carlina, eventhough I like Ms Dulcita a lot better. Is that because I have a sweet tooth ? Parece que tengo un diente dulce, me gusta la golosina o el dulce chiquito.....oh mejor dicho, es que ya soy un "Dulcero" ..............

Oh come on Tony..............unless proven otherwise, I will give her the benefit of the doubt. It is quite possible she misinterpreted the rules. And why not ?

That is why within the legal system, there is such a thing as an appeal where a higher court may interpret a law differently from a lower court and the reason why initial judgements in many cases are later overturned. Three people can take and read one document, and may purposely or not, understand it in three totally different ways. That is why we should never be too quick to judgement.

I am not taking sides here, regardless of culpability. The point is that in spite of proof against her, no matter what, she is still innocent until proven otherwise. The burden of proof is not on her. All arguments must be heard prior to and until a decision reached and final judgement made.

Now for you to call it an all out fraud is a far stretch. We know of course this act is not criminalized and therefore she would not be penalized further other then perhaps losing the priviledge to compete. She will likely leave things alone and not to take further action in her defense. However, if I were her, if I truly feel I did nothing wrong, at least not intentionally, I would fight to clear my name at minimum for the sake of publicity. She won't be any worse off then what she is already, with everything to gain and little to lose.

I think passing yourself off as a women when genetically you are actually a man is far worse or more of a fraud (deception) to me, yet the Miss Universe Organization overlooked this "minor point" and let the man compete as a girl. Now go figure...... This is a perfect example of distorted standards. Are they telling me a former man can be just as beautiful a women ?

very disrespectful. First read the complete story then judge. Can't believe you would actually use that word to describe a female . Would you like someone to call your mother or daughter that word?
