Awesome Places to have Best Food in DR
In an island like DR i'm sure there would be many hidden delights....lets share the best feeling you had when accidentally you feasted on a Dominican delicacy at any place

We are missing a good Indian food restaurant with home made chapatis, samoosa's, poori, mango chutney, lamb marsala, and other delicious Indian dishes. LOL.

: Mesón de Bari - Zona Colonial on Saturday for lunch is an experience not to miss arrive late ....but still Vizcaya Friday or Sunday for late lunch can be even more fun and more appetizing at a more economic price
Best typical Dominican outside of Santo Domingo- Tipico Bonao- Bonao Yes this is a must STOP on your trip to Santiago surprisingly high quality........................Best Sandwich and Batida Experience PAYAN The Original at 3am for the last 50 years and still the best .........I have tried Palacio de Jade{ my former all time favorite} 3 times under the new owners strike three their out ..........Boga Boga and Don Pepe are excellent America and Iberia deseve an honorable mention .......By far the BEST VALUE....VIzcaya is is like a sore dick ........you cant beat it

BEST CUP OF COFFEE OR ANYTHING MADE WITH A COFFEE BEAN .........West Indies Coffee on Mercedes between Isabela Catolica and Merino Near Mexican Embassy.......Cannot be beat regional Dominican coffees roasted on the premises and individually ground for each cup a Dominican coffee experience not to be missed also sold in 1 pound or 5 pound bags

BTW Vizcaya restaurant is also the favorite (or was before he became the big bwana) of President Leonel Fernandez. LOL
Barra Payan inside the city is a tradition, ask for the "completo" with everything on it.
Palacio de Jade you have to ask if the Chinese cook is there when you visit, if not turn away. LOL

la campagna has great food and sandwiches in Santiago
kucara macara in fron of the monument in Santiago has a western cowboy theme and the pollo is always good
the street vendors in front of hotel matum in santiago are also good... you can find yaroa, quipe, and empanadas late night
Amigo Cafe in Moncion is great
Also, you can pick up fresh casabe in Moncion

Was in La Campagna last week, in Santiago, salads are great and sandwiches are huge and affordable.
