Obama genuinely has great intentions and great visions in general and eventually within time he'll prove himself.
He has not done enough work around the glove or within USA yet to win a peace noble price. It is way too soon to receive such price. I think Carter could have been an appropriate candidate now.

a sinister thought just crossed my mind. what if the Nobel Prize Committee awarded the prize to Obama, just to poke the "angry white man" in the eyes? i mean, it is the worst kept secret that the world in general has nothing but contempt for that section of America which dislikes Obama. you know, the Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity crowd, who see the rest of the world as being their inferiors. first the snub to Chicago, then this. isn't it ironic that although they rejected Chicago for the Olympics, they gave the prize to one of its native sons?hmmmmm....

You know what really got my blood up? These so-called conservative talk show hosts GLOATING because Chicago, an AMERICAN city, didn't get the Olympics. It's like patriotism goes out the window if the choice is between that and sticking mud in Obama's eye.
