I think that the catholic church ahs wayyyyyyyy too much power in political affairs, I mean their doctrine is very rigid, and their fanatical followers jump to whatever the archbishop says. Another thing if they are one of the more powerful institutions on the island, why aren't they doing more to help the poor? and how come the priest ( well archbishop and above) live so lavishly? If yes, Why; if not, Why not? Civil revolution wont happen because Dominicans dont like to suffer, its not in their blood. Dominicans do not have the intelligence to understand the long term benefits. They are to occupied with trying to steel other peoples crumbs or getting to the to the top just to do the same as everyone else or benefit from trivial quidproquo exchanges. Ignorance and lack of education is the primary reason for those on the Island. For those living abroad , complacency lack of incentives and a total disconnec from the reality of what is at stake. Life is too good. Bottom line we are just too stupid! Why wont Dominican Republic prosper? Because Dominicans are just plain to Stupid |
