When you parachute you hit the ground with some force. Your arms absorb some. But maybe an air cushion is needed for the feet. The A380 is so big anyway you hardly notice the landing.

Now more airlines flying from USA to DR are charging customers baggage fees??? What the F. After paying the most taxes in the carribean now we have to pay for the check in bags? I flew Delta last year and the had no bag fees to DR. Now Delta wants to charge $30 for the second bag. I think that American airlines does not charge, but they don't have the best flight costs.
Here are the ones that I know of:
Spirit - 1st bag $20, second $25 each way
Delta - 1st bag free, second bag $25 each way
Jetblue - 1st bag free, second bag $20 each way
Last I heard AA had no bag fees to DR
Does anyone have info on the rest?

This is getting out of control! Are they going to charge us per toilet tissue square used?

FYI...
American Airlines is now charging $50 USD for the second bag
Also, Delta increased the second bag charge to $50
Spirit ariline restricts you to one bag per customer from December 1st to January 10th
WTF I am sick of all of the fees and restrictions

Xwill thank for the update. You really can't count the hora to get back to your hevita and take her to tora bora

OMG I cant wait!!! counting the days... la mujere aqui en USA no son como la de RD...
Its crazy, my bags are 13 pounds empty... does spirit expect me to fit everything into one bag and be at less than 50 pounds??? I am glad I am flying in via delta and leaving via spirit.
Like I told you before, leave your clothes over there.....that way you "travel light" all the time.

Dejala en la casa de una de esas mujeres que no son como las de aqui.........just make sure that her "primo" doesn't use them while you are out of the country. JAJAJAJAJAJAJA.

yea don't want beer stains or any other stains on my clothes made by el primo
"Stains" should be the least of your problems. JAJAJAJA.

Seriously, look at the bright side.......the more they charge for bags, the less "Dona Antonia" you will see........

"Dona Antonia"= all those people on line, taking to the DR all kind of crap.......toilet paper, canned food, boxes full of nonsense, luggage so tight que ni un peo sale, 3-5 maletas, etc, etc.....

Maybe now, knowing they will be charged, they'll leave all that unnecessary crap behind.

People like me, who travel light, can't care less if they charge.

If anything, we are happy.

The more they charge, the less 'Dona Antonia" will take to the DR........

And the less they take, the less time we have to wait on line.

2 bags is the most for me that way my stuff i s not so tight... they should charge for the third bag. I guess its a revenue thing for the airlines

I believe it should be limited to 1 Carry on, 2 Check-ins going into DR, but 1 Check In, 1 Carry on going to the USA. However the pounds for the 2 check-ins must not exceed 50 lbs as the carry on should not surpass the required size they have for the standard of what size the carry on should be.

Reasons why? Simply because, people often may want to bring more stuff going into DR than they would bring with them returning from DR into the USA.

I know when I go to DR, I bring clothes for friends and families as well as I bring some of my favorite delicacies to eat from the USA.

Lol ha hah not lunch, but my favorite cereals, Mac & Cheese etc... You know, things of that nature.

Besides, I often have a hard time to find some of these things in DR. Often they are too expensive when I go to the Supermercado or sometimes given the fact I am Driving and roaming with old friends, chilling-kicking it with so many girls and all, I do not have time to really look at the Supermarket.

My freaking friends man, they often come to get me at my house kind of early in the morning and often we return from Santo Domingo among other places late in the afternoon or evening.

The day I take ANY food to the DR is the day I will do 3 "David Carradine" on myself!.

Once, on my way over there, there was this loser eating a "ensalada de mariscos" he had packed.........

His wife was so embarrassed that she switched seats with another relative who was sitting someplace else.......she couldn't stop complaining about her "sin educacion" husband.

But let me tell you, even if I was embarrassed for that dummy, that "ensalada" smelled fricking good. JAJAJAJAJA.

I was on a jetblue flight in NYC and this lady sitting in the back seat opened up a plate of Dominican food.. The whole plane smelled like frtura. That should not be allowed. I love Dominican food but the smell gets boring on a plane
