The Germans had a good system of hiring Turkish and other foreign workers. They could enter with a visitors visa - a company had to advertise the post for Germans - then if no applicants a Turkish worker could be employed - initially on one year contract.

it is not an issue of the hatian people, it is an issue of illegal people. There are not enough jobs for Dominicans alone, now we have over 2 million illegals. equalize the wages is a bad idea in DR... it would just make the rich people richer. You can not compare ever DR problem to Euro problems. We are an island and have more limitations due to the corruption
