RE: Talk turns to war as tensions mount between Colombia and Venezuela
The thought of Chavez's Army of Political appointees and patronage facing battle hardened Colombian troops is hilarious.

The sad thing is if Chavez is stupid enough to try it would be a bloodbath with 100's if not thousands dead....mostly Venezuelans.

The only salvation for the Venezuelan people would be if Chavez really lost his mind and tried to involve the USA. then it would be over in two day..3 tops. The Ven. air force and Navy would cease to be functional entities in less than 24 hours and the Army would give up and return to their barracks soon after.

Either way it ain't gonna happen. Even Chavez isn't that crazy. It is just more of his bluster to deflect his supporters from thinking about the fact they have no electricity or water.
Proof of dreadlocks Bigotry.
"....... what did Cubans do to deserve preferential treatment?......and treat Black people in the most racist of ways.......... the Cubans are just a bunch of uberracist savages."

Absolutely correct!

The columbian military is mostly paramilitary decentralized light and fast moving. The Venezuelan is heavily mechanized, slow moving and largely inexperienced.

My bet would be on Colombia.
