That is quite optimistic Gringo, but anything is possible at this point. It seems every piece of bad news drives the S&P higher and higher. I'm not a gambling man so I'm out of US equities, but not a gold bug so not interested in buying metals.... GDX or ABX = great compromise; upside of rising gold but also upside of all this increased liquidity bubbling up equity shares. ABX has underperformed GDX but maybe now that the hedges are out of the way it will catch up.

I may shoot over some questions over the weekend!

personally i believe in having at least 5-10% of your investments in precious metals. Not stocks or funds but actual bullion.
Easily purchased and sold without the tax-mans knowledge and never valued zero.

It will be interesting how Gold and Silver prices will effect jewelry sales for the holidays. A slow season can be even worse for jewelry sales.......or...........traditional high holiday sales could lead to a price spurt on the market. I expect the former.

With more news like this

and The continued decline of the Dollar will lead to $1300 and ounce by late spring.
