You may choose to deny that, but some buddies and I went into Seoul and did taste the local delicacies indeed. Who knows what we ate back in those days I was a SPC 4 then and I had a female SSG friend who lived off post whom I used to kick it with. We went out into Tongduchon town all the time. Wow, those were the days. I used to get all sort of knock offs made and sent back to the States. I had fun in Korea, the only thing I tend to have had a problem with was this kind of constant smell in the Country. It was like, everything looked clean, but that smell gghhh! Look, I understand if you do not want to let other fellow Dominican compatriots know that you have eaten all sort of things in Korea, but I am an honest man. I live in the moment and I might have eaten it without even knowing or even cared then. Actually, you haven't been the first one that I have seen making a remark about the korean's "smelliness". Could it be something that they eat? About disgusting dishes, the cambodians and vietnamese of the country side have roasted tarantulas as part of their menu (yuck!). It can't get any more disgusting than that. "A man who strives after goodness in all his acts is sure to come to ruin, since there are so many men who are not good." Korea mainly diet is rice in order for them to have their land ready after the winter they need to use this "human and animal waste" as fertilizer. That is what you smell when you drive to these area. In the monsoon season when it rain for two straight months these land get flooded and the US army to be courteous with the local ask for "force" volunteer to assist in those flooded area. A person I knew volunteer and two week later he still smell like shiit. Edited on 11/13/2009 7:02 PM by vacanos. I can only interpret as if this guy está pasando un trabajo del diablo!!!! He is passing through Niagra on a bike. If nobody can fine the answer in the mean time: Moral of the story is................ "There is more then one way to skin a cat." or in this case the British version says: "there is more ways of killing a cat," People are so concerned about suvival and their way of doing things that they live in a dog-eat-dog world. This British foreigner prove it to be otherwise, literally......... |
