Unquestionable documentation of a fact that was hidden for many years about Trujillo's Haitian bloodline. I would be interested to have a genetic tracing of his Haitian ancestry to determine if he was related to Dessalines as well.

You can compute the percentages from the information disclosed above, but 3/4 Spanish seems to me like an exaggeration of biblical proportions.
The truth of the matter is that the "Haitian hater Trujillo" was part Haitian himself, and his boiling hatred of his Haitian brothers that consumed him, could only be explained by deep psychological profiling. For sure he was a sick puppy.

One of the weak points of Trujillo that led to his eventual demise and ambush, was his predictability. Everyone knew that he visited his mother most afternoons, and the day he was killed he visited his mother, in the afternoon, then went to his usual malecón stroll with his cronies and sycophants, and then left to pay a visit to his mistress in San Cristobal, where he never arrived since he was shot full of lead on the way there.
