DR is 99 which is not that great, but a lot better than other countries in the list.global corruption barometer (GCB) Corruption Perceptions Index 2009 The Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) table shows a country's ranking and score, the number of surveys used to determine the score, and the confidence range of the scoring. The rank shows how one country compares to others included in the index. The CPI score indicates the perceived level of public-sector corruption in a country/territory. The CPI is based on 13 independent surveys. However, not all surveys include all countries. The surveys used column indicates how many surveys were relied upon to determine the score for that country. The confidence range indicates the reliability of the CPI scores and tells us that allowing for a margin of error, we can be 90% confident that the true score for this country lies within this range. click on the column names to sort Rank Country/Territory CPI 2009 Score Surveys Used Confidence Range 1 New Zealand 9.4 6 9.1 - Radame alone would be like another 15 spots up in the list and Angelina would be another 10 so my guesstimate is we will end up around 69 next year after they apply some of the changes in the new constitution that's here now. Or Are the higher numbers at the bottom of the list those with more corruption, and the lower numbers at the top are those countries with less corruption? If so, I read and viewed on CNN that New Zealand has the most corruption thus it being the number one corrupted nation on earth and the rest follow suit. They said the more you are at the very bottom of the list the more it means your country is not as corrupted as the ones above at the very top of the list. So which order to you members show which country being the worse when it come to corruption? ALthough I am still surprised to see some countries which I thought were the worse corrupted nations to be the least or less corrupted nations is mind boggling and baffling to me. The #1 is the least corrupted and 180 the most corrupted based on 2008 data in the 2009 CPI. "People who don't like their beliefs being laughed at shouldn't have such funny beliefs" |
