This was before the days of GNC proteins eh? These days how many giant 250lb. Dominicans are walking around? And if you ask me Dominicans are stylin', profilin', and chasing the finest women as much as old Naitch himself. OK maybe not as much as the real heavyweight champion ... we Dominicans still don't know about those custom made robes....

WOOOOO!!

No but serious question can anyone recommend a quality tailor in Santiago and would I be saving money by having a custom wardrobe made over there versus in US? Don't worry 'm thinking business suits and shirts,, not quite ready for the luxuriant feathered robes...yet!

I'm sorry, I can't hear you over the sound of how awesome I am.

RE: Jack Veneno & Ric Flair
I saw the two fights between Jack Veneno & Rick Flair. They were very funny. Jack won both fight. Whatever the way he did it, the fact is Jack Veneno beat twice Rick Flair. If Rick Flair let Jack Veneno beat him, it was his problem. What I dont believe is that he was paid with cocaine. That´s not true.
I am dominican and at that time, the glorius 80, Jack Veneno was a hero for us the children. Yes, he promoted FortyMalt, an emulsion made with fish oil and he promoted INDUVECA a dominican salami. The true is that he was a genius of spectacle and sometimes I think WWE copy from him with the dramas between the fight. His wrestling program was the number one in ratings the saturdays middays. Now he is retired, but he´s actually a sport advisor for the president of the republic, doctor Leonel Fernandez Reyna.

Jack Veneno, lol! Ohh the memories. I actually had Fortymalt as a kid. My mom gave it to me a few times, I was a bit sickly as a kid. It tasted horrible and had the consistency of tar.

Does anyone know what happened to Jack Veneno? Also what happened to the Dominican wrestling league?

Thats what claims Flair. Must anyone believe him?
Yes, both matches were televised here in the Dominican Republic by Colorvision chanel 9.
If you search in google, you must find a link from youtube with them.

The dominican wrestling league, as you call it, died with Jack retirement and the internationalitation of WWE.

No, man, thanks God we're still not mexican.
Remember, Chavez is half dominican 'cause he lived here in Santo Domingo.

Is it possible that Roddy Piper accepted the cash payment from the promoters, spent it on drugs, and then lied to Ric Flair that they were paid in cocaine Flair and his crew lived the rock star life back then, it is possible he has mixed up memories or his good friend Roddy Piper was up to some funny business.

Hi,

Jack Veneno and Rick Flair had not two but three matches at the Sports Palace of DR.

My dad took me to all three of them.

Rick Flair indeed looked much taller and stronger than jack Veneneno.

I'll post later about all matches.

To the OP, The used to play the last mach on tv from time to time on ColorVision channel #9
