I believe that Haiti has relied too much on the United States throughout its history. This needs to be significantly reduced. I belief that if Haiti had cordial relations with France, they would be "less selfish" in returning the money. For goodness sakes, you have Haitians who live in Cite soliel that speak better English than they do French or even Kreyol...I was watching the movie "Ghost of Cite Soliel" and the main character "Haitian 2pac" can't even write his name but he can speak perfect English. j'ai vu J'ai participe Je me souvien - 1804 |

I have heard that some haitians from the southern department are even better speaking Jamaican Patois than some jamaicans themselves. Is this true? I agree. Consuello I meant the precedent it would set for issues between other former colonies and the Western powers. Oh yeahhhh, that too. Very good point!!! |

I have heard that some haitians from the southern department are even better speaking Jamaican Patois than some jamaicans themselves. Is this true? That is true in many places since Haitians always find themselves having to prove they are as good as any or at times to better conceal that they are Haitians due to possible reprisal from Immigration officials or the fear of being reported by others regarding the legality status. Thus if they do not sound Haitian or they speak the other language very good and can express themselves well enough in it, it gives them a better sense of survivability in the society as maybe less racial discrimination will be inflicted upon them. So it is quite possible, much like you have Haitians who speak Spanish and can no Dominicans at times even tell if they are Haitian or Dominican or not, like in America you have Haitians who speaks English and can no one knows if they are Haitians unless they tell someone they are. In my sister's case, she speaks Danish, German, Italian and Russian and lastly Spanish and is still in DR she does not consider herself Haitian even though we are both of the same mother and father. She claims to be only Dominican and when she speak those other languages, people always have a hard time knowing she is even Dominicans that is how fluent she is in them beside the fact that her and I look nothing like family when indeed we are of the same bloods. Take Usher Raymond for example (lol). |

They blocked Consuello because some of his posts were titled in all CAPITAL LETTERS. Some of the other times, ARC and CARLOS have reported him when they cannot stand the heat because they want to be the only ones to do all the bashing or project their views. They go around the site looking for his posts to report them. However many of you cannot see the passion both Carlos and Arc have by making Haiti the light of their work... As they go to sleep thinking how they will come back the next day to defame, demean and derogate Haiti, Haitians. I suppose more validation of the truths Consuello speaks because often the truth hurts and only when it hurts do people ever go that lengthy effort to try to censor someone else when their remarks are nothing but offensive themselves. What it really comes down to I suppose and take it that they were hurting badly those two, more often they have ever anticipated or have come to realized (lol)! I know I have repeatedly reported arca's more inflammatory posts, and they are sometimes subsequently deleted...but for whatever reasons the profile is allowed to stay active. In the case of Wil I guess he is now considered to always be walking on 'thin ice'. |
