Is that all it takes to get banned from this site? Well, Believe it or not, as surely you may not believe it Cibaeño. This site has rather been extremely prejudiced, biased and partial with double standards fro rules and terms it does not apply and enforced on everyone equally in determining who they delete, ban or reprimand. There is this sense that they only banned those that are or have been reported to be Haitians, of course. Go under cover for once and supposedly claim to be Haitian or even mix with Haitian-Dominican and try posting anything about DR or Dominicans in a discussion that one may consider defaming and so forth, you will see how they will be quick to delete your post, ban you meanwhile, defaming, discriminatory, derogatory remarks about Haiti and Haitians roam this site like no other place. Some statements you would have never wanted to hear about DR or if you were from any other Country that they are bashing as such, as when those members posts those comments it is as though they expect if someone is of Haitian origin would be happy to read about or not reply back or rebuke these negative allegations. Go read some comment posted under some Articulos posted by this site and the responses from others that never get deleted, banned and so forth as negative postings Artilcles about Haiti get to remained posted on this sites for months and are kept in the Poverty section to keep this tarnishing stigma on Haiti. This site knows what it is doing, believe me. They even try to censor Haitians even when the posts or articles are pertaining to Haiti and Haitians and negative comments are flying left and right about them. Tell if that is right and fair, or would it had been right and fair to you had you been in the other shoe? At times those Articles remain there for an entire year as though with subtle intent some negative campaigns being raged against Haiti. How come this site never go around to post positive things about Haiti that are undergoing right now? At least they could have made the effort to post news about Haiti's current political status such as the Prime Minister issues so maybe the Haitians living in DR could learn properly of what is going on in their homeland or the other side of the Island so perhaps maybe the Haitians could have a sense that things are getting better and that maybe those Haitians could start leaving DR and away with this intense level of discrimination and Human Rights Violations? P.S: Here are the list of those Articles they are still on this site or perhaps look them up in the query to views the comments. * Spread of Haitian beggars on Dominican streets must be solved, ex Haiti consul says. * In a snub of Dominican leader, Haiti lawmakers say "not in our name." * NGOS call on G8 leaders for Haiti's debt cancellation. * Haiti secures Canadian grant to complete road access to Port-au-Prince. * Dominican people crackdown on Haitian children. Anyway, here is a little video to keep things humorous again eh... (lol)!!! Edited on 7/8/2008 3:53 PM by AfroLatino. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Have they really finally ratified her already JeMeSouviens? Do you have a posted link? Yes, you will never see this site post those positive things that are taking place in Haiti; meanwhile recently there has been a Group of Dominican Journalists who went to Haiti and have been there since last end of May. There are a lot of work that are being conducted, however still without a Prime Minister to manage all these funds many of these projects are on standby and stalled. Oh JeMeSouviens here is a Haitian Radio News site http://www.metropolehaiti.com/metropole/pageaudio.php?d=08070817 I am sorry as it is unfortunate that this site and news are in French and at times Creole since it is a News Station directly from Haiti. Thus, for those who do not understand French & Creole or not even willing to make the effort, indeed again I am so sorry. Edited on 7/8/2008 6:58 PM by AfroLatino. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I have long awaited the day that I can take an early leisurely drive from santiago to jacmel and arrive in time to enjoy an early dinner while ovverlooking jacmel's beautiful bay. The day will come my brother. I concur with the esteemed gentleman from el Cibao; I have only the best of wishes for Haiti and her people. Edited on 7/8/2008 7:43 PM by FranktheTank. To Cibaeno75 It is quotes like this that makes me understand that the conflicts amongst haitian and dominican posters may not truly show how all dominicans and haitians feel about each other. I would love to see jacmel's beautiful bay. I believe that would be a satisfying view, not to mention a touch of haitian strong coffee with milk. No matter what is said, I feel the two countries of haiti and DR share a complex relationship, but at the end of the day. The advancement of both countries to the 21st century and working together to eliminate poverty is a dream that i truly have for hispaniola. |

But i honestly feel that this time around he didn't deserve getting kicked out. Well i hope Wil comes back under a new name. I love when he's duking it out with arcatype and carlosfranco. Not to mention, a formal discussion with lautaro |
