Great work I see happening in Haiti. It is no bloom, but never the less it is something and a great start if things remain on course. Would you not say so, my friend? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I have long awaited the day that I can take an early leisurely drive from santiago to jacmel and arrive in time to enjoy an early dinner while ovverlooking jacmel's beautiful bay. The day will come my brother. My dream is even more ambitious yet: to take a drive from Cape Engaño to Cape Tiburon, the island coast to coast. Although I´ll surely have to expend a lot of money on the gas stations, if the price of oil keeps skyrocketing as it has been doing on the last few months. LOL Edited on 7/9/2008 9:32 AM by Lautaro. Indeed, if haiti stabilizes to the point that roads and internal security improve dramatically I think you'll be seeing many DOminicans with with passports saturated with stamps from crossing the border to enjoy the sites on the other side. Two stable and prosperous states on Hispaniola that accentuate the positive of what both people have to offer would indeed be a gift to future generations of Dominicans and Haitians and to the world in general.
