RE: thanks to these countries for their help.
Canada $53.66 million - wow! For a small country - makes me proud!

In fact on a per capita basis Canada is giving more than any other nation including the USA.

To equal Canada the USA would have to give $530 MILLION or five times as much as they gave so far.

But with Obama as president they cannot afford to give...

China 1 million, Russia less! Hmmm ....they should send it back as an insult -
and also the paltry amount the economic giant Germany is giving...

Captialists can afford to give more!

Not one Islamic controlled mid-eastern nation giving? To busy financing terrorists!

Yeah that's true but most of these country are giving AID MONEY which means Haiti will have to pay it back later so these so call generous gesture is only SMOKE AND MIRROR in the stage. I would love to see a list of how many of all this countries are actually donating in the form of a "Grant Money" which is what Haiti needs today. Nice to see some countries sticking the knife in the back of Haiti even deeper with all these "Generous gestures BS". To me the MO is the same that it has always been drive Haiti into debt so deep that they'll never get out of the hole nothing different being done here.

I do not think any nation is to blame except Haiti. The choose to worship Satan for 200 years and gave the country to him. The pig statue is still there in the National Plaza.

Haiti now has a chance - and many are turning to evangelical Christians for the true hope and then the country will have a chance - ruled by honest fair and competent people and not crooks who believe in vodoo.

Canada has now given over $100 million dollars to help rebuild Haiti, it will match dollar per dollar all canadian citizen's donation until February 12th. As of yesterday these citizens had raised $85 million dollars. All Canadian funds will be given to Haiti as a grant not as a loan!!

The reality is different just look at the official wording from Canada here

Canadian aid may reach 100 million dollars for Haiti
(AFP) – Jan 14, 2010

OTTAWA — The Canadian government is ready to match its citizens' donations for quake-stricken Haiti up to a combined total of 100 million Canadian dollars (97 million US), it announced Thursday.
"Canada will match the contributions of individual Canadians to eligible Canadian charitable organizations in support of humanitarian and recovery efforts in Haiti to a total of 50 million dollars, which offers a potential of 100 million dollars of humanitarian assistance," Foreign Affairs Minister Lawrence Cannon said Thursday.
The funds would be allocated to "established Canadian and international humanitarian and development organizations who have an established presence in Haiti," he said.
Cannon also announced that a first wave of 100 Canadian evacuees from Haiti arrived in the neighboring Dominican Republic and were expected to land in Montreal aboard a C-130 Hercules aircraft by day's end.
More evacuations are to follow over the "next few days," he said.
Three Canadians reportedly died in the 7.0 magnitude quake on Tuesday: a nurse who had just arrived in Haiti, a geographer of Haitian origin and his wife, said Canadian media, citing relatives of the deceased.
"We are deeply saddened by reports of Canadian casualties as a result of the earthquake in Haiti," Cannon said, without confirming the death toll.
"Unfortunately, the reality in the aftermath of the catastrophic events, is that we expect more casualties to be reported as search and rescue operations unfold," he said.
Defense Minister Peter MacKay, meanwhile, said a second C-130 Hercules aircraft and a massive C-17 military transport plane departed for Haiti in the morning with military personnel and aid.
A second C-17 Globemaster III would also depart Trenton military base in southern Ontario for Haiti later in the day.

Officials in Canada are telling a different story.
