Really now. When I simply state my case and put forward by beliefs I am told to shut up? What ever happened to freedom of speech? Og yes, that is only reserved for Liberals and people who mock and attack our faith - that is OK?

Protestant fundamentalists are usually very intolerant of the fact that as a Christian one of the core beliefs is that of free will.As far as I am concerned you have a God given right not to believe in God and I cannot take your God given freedom away . I know some believers (fundamentalists) attack non believers but there are also many so called "atheists" who spend much of their time in religious forums so it does go both ways.I also disagree with the tenet that being an atheist in itself makes on a good person just like I don't believe going to church makes one a good Christian . I am responsible for my actions and I believe I will answer for my actions and not anyone else's and I believe their is only one judge and that is the Almighty so I will never try to take anyone's free thought away but I will also not stand by and allow illogical and biased comments to stand without response. "I do question the individuals who claim to work for God". that is an absolute legitimate feeling that anyone should have. if God expects us to test the scriptures how much more the people who proclaim to be Gods mouthpiece. the biggest problem i have with people are ones who misrepresent God and use scripture or christianity as a weapon to beat people over the head. how much more condemmed are those that do not know the truth? yet these men that supposedly know Gods heart want to attack some more. what these people do not realise is that they are the biggest stumblingblocks that paul talks about.

I have known thousands of evangelical Christians, and only one or two - slightly deranged anyway - were obnoxious. The rest were gracious and loving people who showed a lot of patience when THEIR faith was ridiucled and atttacked without mercy - at work and around....
