Political ideology killed over 100 million people.

This is what I would like to believe is the difference between atheists or people who don't believe in general and people who invest themselves in religion: you make this a competition, you make it a fight, a struggle. But in reality even atheists invest themselves in atheism as if it is a religion as well. You're all too invested in something so abstract. Just because I don't believe in any divine god does not mean I seek to destroy your beliefs. I just don't care. Keep it out of my life, otherwise it doesn't affect me.

Add up that and religious fervor and you get the highest body count.

But that ideology DEMANDED all people be Atheists or die! And ALL those governments were ATHEIST - as some today still are. Communism demands ATHEISM as the state religion. Find me one true communist government that was not Officially Atheist.

You have to understand - killing or allowing millions of your own people to starve has to have a logic behind it.

1. Believe in God and the value of all individuals - that is Western Christian based and leads to freedom for all.

Believe in NO GOD and NO SOUL and NO ETERNAL value to a human and you have man as an expendable animal high up on the food chain so if we need to kill 10 million for the common good of 300 million lets do it. (Ukraine as an example of organized atheists at work)

The same could be said for any sort of ideology that becomes a bandwagon.

Climate Change
Environmentalism
Veganism
Pro Life-Pro Choice

People have an innate desire for a sense of belonging and bandwagons fulfill that sense. The thing that annoys me to no end is when people want to force you to conform to their ideology. The animal rights nazis who decree anything negative against animals no matter how trivial as inhumane. The climate change nazis who actually believe that humans are destroying the planet. The list is endless.

I understand what you are saying. But all of the religions can not be right as they are opposed. People who are true Christians will share the good news when ever they can as:

1. There lives have been wonderfully transformed by it
2. The lives of many others they know have been transformed
3. They want the same joy and peace for you.

That is why they cannot stay quiet! They know a secret to life and joy and they will put up with the hatred and mockery and persecution from people around them but they will not stop sharing the good news.

Bear with me? Suppose you house is on fire. I see the flames and smoke come from your basement window. You are asleep inside. You see and smell nothing.

I wake you up and try to drag you out. You shout, kick and scream and object to me pulling you out of your comfort zone. I manage to do it any way and suffer in the process.

Once you are outside you see the fire and danger and you become very grateful.

Most people are still in that comfort zone and get very angry when we warn them of the danger that WE KNOW TO BE REAL. We have often been beaten and killed for warning people and trying to rescue them.

Just because you do not see or smell the danger, doe snot mean it is not there. We have escaped it and live in peace and joy, knowing we are God;s adopted special children, and we want the same for you.


We do not expect you NOW to agree, but at least try to understand our motives and actions!

I already told you to stop basing your arguments on your own personal ideology because it will get you nowhere. most Atheists Do not start wars or live criminal lives. Atheists are free thinkers and respect humanity.
