Fernandito was the man! He is still good and beloved by Dominicans! He was a mega-star but wasn't able to crossover to the mainstream like Juan Luis Guerra. I think outside of DR, other hispanic cultures don't know Fernandito unless they are really die-hard merengue fans which is sad b/c he is one of the greatest.

GC, Marc Antony has a good voice, but he sings so much forgettable, commercial crap that he will never occupy the lofty heights in the genre ,unlike Celia, Tito Puente, etc.
