The Brother smiled a lot. He looks like he enjoyed life. Sometimes I forget that he died young.

...every little thing is gonna be all right!!!

i have always been amazed at the admiration that Dominicans have for the great Bob. every dj plays at least one of his songs. street cd vendors always have his music. and yes, generoso, this was a messenger from above. when i listen to music like Slave Driver, and Sun is Shining, i am inspired. yumnuk, you are the man.

I smoked my first spliff at age 16 in my grandma's back yard in San Carlos while listening to Buffalo Soldier. I didn't understand the lyrics but i knew what Bob Marley represented.

Social Equality, Peace, Brotherly love, tolerance and understanding.

I'm 36 now and still burn a big fat spliff once in a while, specially every time the reggae festival comes to town, sometimes in front of the bumboclot police

" Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery; None but ourselves can free our minds "

this video is from this year 15th Caribbean Festival 2008, Bob Marley Movement in Miami

" Herb is the healing of a nation, alcohol is the destruction.”

“When you smoke the herb, it reveals you to yourself.”
