I am sure, her husband wouldn't mind talking to a family of broke and ignorant dominicans. Life works in different ways, I know a dominican family who shared the same feeling as your family. Instead, it was the father of the girl who hated the haitian doctor. What happenned is that the father got extremely sick, long and behold, it was the hated prieto doctor who rehabilitated him back to health. Later on in life, he realized that hating this very man was an act of ignorance. Maybe it is best to hate someone for what they do, not by how they look like or where they are from. No matter what is said and done, you never know who may help you in the long run. Im sure if death was knocking on the door and that ur nieces husband was your only option, you would more than gladly get help for the kinki hair haitian. FYI, not all dominicans have good hair, especially when over 80% of the population is of African Descent. I have definitely seen some light skinned dominicans with not soo good hair. But come on, life isn't about hate. If hating is what you do best, I hope one day you can change that mentality.
