The funny way some Dominicans say things.
Ever wondered from where in hell some Dominicans learn to say the things they say.

Why not call things by their right names.

For instance, why say:

Vivaporu instead of Vick's Vapor Rub.

Tubei instead of Two Base.

Jonron instead of Home Run.

Fortimal instead of Forty Malt

I know, I know, they say it the way it sounds. I am just making a joke.

Anybody else with some funny words?.

What about the "funniest" line of them all:

"I'll be there in 10 minutes" and then end up getting there 3 hours later, if they get there at all!.

Also: cachu instead of ketchup.

Anybody with more?.
