dreadlocks Location: United States Join date: December 2007 Member #: 4 Posts: 4719	RE: Your opinion of soldiers of Dominican decent that die in American War Campaigns well, the problem is that the military today is all volunteer. so, anyone who joins the military assumes the risk of being sent into battle. besides, if you are a citizen of the USA, then you have to accept the responsibility of fighting its wars if you join the military. the draft is a horse of a different color. during the draft era, guys with green cards were being sent off to war. that would be the equivalent of the DR government forcing foreigners with residency documents to fight for the DR in the event of an international conflict ( very hypothetical, i admit) as far as this administration is concerned, i try my utmost not to think about it! Dread that was part of the deal ....If you come to the United States of America and want to partake of its bounty and opportunity you have to partake of the responsibility and serve in its defense just like the native born.......Dread you just want to serve in the Dominican army just to get the free drugs ..... you would ask to be drafted in the DR lets get ready to RUUMMMMMMBBBLLLEE
