Well, dread, if the Republians win a clear election, andafte a few months, ole John says "farewell to this world, we'll see just how tough she can be. It might be that she'll be just as tough and itractable as the Chinese, the North Koreans, Chavez , Et Al have been in the past. Wouldn't THAT JUST BE GREAT? Then tell Russia to STAY OUTA OTHER PEOPLES YARDS and adopt that philosophy ourselves, to boot. Kick some A$$ in the Democratic Camp by vetoeing all the TAX increases, ramping up odall the Social programs ( howcan we afford Univrsal Health Care when even Medicare and Social Security are ontheverge of bankruptcy because Congress has been using those funds to createeven more social programs),
Then foster a NEWER and WEAKER Government, tell all those parents of failing students to get some gumption and FORCE their lazy-a$$ed kids to STUDY and do their HOMEWORK instead of spending so much time on Windows Messenger and the like, get rid of those Principals and Superintendents who "cook the books" to make themselves look good, tell all the companies and corporations who are outsourcing everything to move their corporate offices out of thec ountry, but tax them anyway, or raise the import duties to the point of non-competitiveness on their products.
In other words, GIVE 'EM ALL HELL, including the unions who just keep on demanding more and more, thereby making even MORE companies move out of the country.
Call a Spade a Spade and look at the mess we're in because of "POLITICS" and "GREEDINESS" on BOTH sides of the economic equation.

Texas Bill, that is all good, in terms of ideas. but, all we have heard is bull and misrepresentations. she claims to preside over this state which does not believe in pork. yet she was a supporter of the bridge to nowhere before she was against it (sound like John Kerry?) besides, she does not need earmarks. for every federal income tax dollar alaska sends to the IRS, it gets back 1.84. who needs earmarks. and , Texas , do you know why some of these world leaders are such assholes to deal with? because they are rabid, inflexible, zealots. and if ever that title fit someone, it is sarah. also, you are assuming that she can tell russia to stay out of other peoples yards, and they will say "yes, ma'am". what if they say "blow me"? do you think that she has the preparation in terms of disposition to deal with these guys and bring the situation to a safe conclusion? do you think she is any less intractible than some of these rabid islamic leaders, simply because she is christian? she is cut from the same cloth. no abortions, no books she does not like.
