They say his comments, which were made in 1973, are unacceptable and severely tarnish Kissinger's image. Earlier this month, the New York Times reported that in newly-released audio tapes from the Nixon Presidential Library and Museum, Kissinger tells President Nixon that Jews being killed in gas chambers in the Soviet Union wasn't the concern of the U.S. "His words are monstrous, they are monstrous, they were monstrous 37 years ago. There's no way to put a good face on it," said Public Advocate Bill de Blasio. "I wouldn't believe it if I didn't read it, if it wasn't on tape, because it is beyond the pale, it is beyond belief, it is beyond comprehension, for a Jew to say that," said Assemblyman Dov Hikind of Brooklyn. The protestors say they're contacting universities to revoke honors bestowed on Kissinger and are trying to get him dismissed from corporate boards where he is a member. Kissinger has responded to a Jewish website, saying his remarks needed to be put into the context of time. NY1 has reached out to Kissinger for response on the protest. source:http://manhattan.ny1.com/content/top_stories/131041/elected-officials-blast-kissinger-comments--demand-apology "If you're going through hell, keep going." - Winston Churchill |

Manley was not one for such folly, and told him that if he wanted to talk, he could find his ass over to Jamaica House. the guy is dreck, and should die with his eyes wide open.
