Cibao question
Probably has been done before but I was wondering if the posters here consider San Francisco de Macoris to be part of the cibao?

I posted this in DT aswell, but I wanted to get consensus.

For that matter, is Dajabon?

The confusion for me lies in it's two meanings. The geographic north, and the cultural interior, so what say you guys?

Yes SFM is part of the cibao, I was born and raised in SFM. The line starts blurring in Castillo. In reality SFM and La Vega use to be the same back in the old days. As you travel east I would say Castillo is the old line but now that line has expanded much farther. What is known as cibao adentro was the triangle betwen Santiago, La Vega and SFM but now is hard to say since the line has expanded so much.

Belly,I actually heard el Cibao adentro as being the triangle formed by Santiago -La Vega - Moca...
San Francisco = Cibao Dajabon = La linea

Llego a Puerto Plata mi Cibao

Traigan a La Vieja Fefa

Y llego a Tenares.

RE: Cibao question

Why isn't Dajabon part of el Cibao? also WHY is Samana part of el Cibao if it's populated by former-US-slaves and not our hispanic demographics?

Dajabon is nowhere near the Cibao valley and not even the people from Samana consider themelves Cibaeños (they are not).
