So indeed, to use your very own words, at times it is the indifference of individuals to one's identity crusades. Frustration is not always a bad thing to let be shown, usually it is an emotion better to be expressed than to never have.

Sometimes when I lash out at the Dominicans I do it with the best intentions I want them to realize that its okay to be Dominicans I don't hate them for that I'm upset with them because they missed the bigger picture. They allowed the "MAN" to use the oldest trick in the book against them and it worked hell it works everytime. "DIVIDE AND CONQUER" Think about it as one nation the empire of Ayiti in the 1800's was unstoppable we just couldn't be defeated so the "MAN" realizing that decided to pull a fast one on us.

They whispered in the ears of the House niggers and said "Why are you letting the Field Niggers run the show, you are better than them, you should have your own state and your own interest to look after, most of them are idiots they don't even know how to read and write and you are letting them call the shots oh! noo.

Then they go to the Field niggers and said " You did all the work why should the House niggers enjoy all the perquisites just because they know how to read and write that doesn't mean they should get all the office jobs they have been in the House all their lives put them outside in the sun as well so they could work and find out how hard it is in the field"

You know what happens next the House Niggers and the Field Niggers began to resent one another and instead of continuing to work together, they started to work against each other.

My friends this is the 21st century believe it or not we know the game, we know the rules and we know the players why are we still allowing them to play us against each other? WHY? WHY? WHY?
They will say to you if you reunite with the Haitians you will lose your identity, well by them saying that are you going to stop being human is that what they mean by losing your identity. They will say well you will lose your culture you have such a beautiful culture you don't want to lose that? Well by them saying that are you going to stop being human if you lose your culture.

The Man does not care about culture he does not limit himself to petty matters such as these that's the reason why they can quickly adapt and overcome in any situation they may find themselves in while you are trying to hang on to your so called identity and culture they have already moved on to the next best thing and until we stop and let go of these meaningless things we will never accomplish anything. Did the Pilgrims worried about losing their identity when they took on that journey?
Look at where they are now they adapted to the environment and took the best out of everything and made a new culture and look at where they are now. No really think about it.

I believe that AfroLatino is on the right track here and I hope he takes his ideas to another level beyond this forum why don't we pretend for one second that I'm not Haitian and you are not Dominican but simply Humans trying to build a better future together.
