I'm only concerned about one thing, because it was brought up in regards to the building of the Metro.

Who is and how are they conducting the soil studies for these massive buildings?. The D.R. sits on a seismic active zone. In case of a catastrophic hurricane, earthquake or other event, how would these structures hold up?

I was made a very reasonable offer for a condo in Miami Beach. But Miami Beach is sand on top of water.

Muchacho, I would Hold off on that Miami idea, the market hasn’t bottomed out yet,(the streets are gonna run red with speculator blood in South Florida before this is over) as for Dominican structures being able to withstand natural disasters, a hurricane, I would say yes; but an earthquake, I haven’t the slightest idea and that is a very good question.

It's a very good question that apparently nobody's asking.

Beautiful pictures Mr. Dom. Thank you for posting those on here. El pais esta progresando. I just hope with all these development that they create enough parking spaces. They should try to look into underground parking lots at these complexes if possible.

Parking spaces are not a problem…Because they do have enough parking spaces… The problem is that the capital will be over crowed (mas tapones)... that’s why I am a pro metro, cuz SD is going up (more and more high rise building in SD)... so the metro if it is well managed will help reduce congestion traffic in SD
