Dominican Republic the metropolis of the Caribbean. This boom is great for the Dominican Republic. It is a sign of investor confidence, economic stablity and sheer progress. Those are awesome pictures of Chinatown. I hope the authorities and citizens are able to keep the streets of Chinatown very clean. Another tourist attraction has been added to Santo Domingo!!!!

I remember walking aroudn duarte/mexico avenue many years ago when i lived in San Carlos. How different and how beautiful.

Yes CarlosFranco SD is changing its face because it wants to be also a tourism destination... if one of you has visited the "Parque Enriquillo" in SD city and la Duarte or "Paseo Comercial de la Duarte" it was in a deplorable condition but in one month you will see a new face of these places when Roberto Salcedo inagurate them
