This is boom... Que viva Santiago!!!

I believe thats "cucara makara" near el monumento, It's a nice restaurant to take a beautiful Santiaguera.

Que viva santiago!!!

the natural lemonade is crazy there

Yea true and they give you a ton of salty pop corn that makes you want more and more presidentes.

Yeah, BABY!!! Now we're talking !!!!! I use to go there all the time. It is an American cowboy theme restaurant with a Dominican twist, rustic but nice.....right across the monumento can't get any better.

One of the oldest Boom!

Great Neon lights gambling casino/night club located by the old but renovated Hotel Matum. Nice illumination, but I am sure it was built with out proper permits or adequate urban design. The structure kind of stands out like a sore thumb. I find it inappropriate for the location and clashes with the urban design of the area. I would prefer it to be low key and not so flashy, kind of overshadows everything else in the monument area.

See Eriliza, we do not need more corporate American food chain in our beautiful DR. These Dominican places even if it has an American cowboy look make the people happy...
I love how they serve the Presidente there

what are you talking about, xwill? to Eriliza, if it is not foreign, it is not "progress". it takes a severely warped mind to consider the presence of a foreign sandwich shop in your country as a great leap forward. holy jeezus!

I will spend my money at the local stores and not at the corporate chain. This is too funny, last thing we want is to eat American food when we are in DR.

I heard that they are trying to bring back this place to the level it use to be.

What good are these malls when there are many people that are hungry?

You are right dread... But DR needs to produce more than just baseball players. I have seen letters from doctors that have so many errors in spanish! That is not good for our image.
