I don't mind and It makes sense and I agree with you. However, the problem with athiest is fear and fear is the most powerful force against mankind. However, If the theory of Evolution is as solid as they claim it to be, then they have nothing to fear but fear itself. What will eventually and consequently happen is that creationist ideas will simply fade away. So what is the problem? I don't get it what's with them? Guilermone Once again you are flat out wrong in your understanding of evolution. Evolution is well accepted by people from many religious background and YES including Juan Pablo II and the new pope Benedict also believes evolution to be true. You are picking on atheist as your target for some reason unknown to me. If you want to teach creationism the here are the simple steps 1st collect evidence of each claims made by the bible 2nd theorized by answering the basic questions 3rd You don't have the option of using the bible as evidence because is the source of the claims Remember evolution was not believe to be true because Darwin say SO! He collected great amount of evidence to back it up! Evolution can be accepted by many intellectuals from different backgrounds, but that doesn't make it true. Evolution is a THEORY that has not been proven as the missing link between ape and man has not been found - even with all the evidence that Darwin collected. Everyone is entitled to their beliefs, however, I find it amusing that many atheists have such arrogant and condescending attitudes towards anyone who believes in God and has religious beliefs. I personally believe in God, yet that doesn't mean that I don't accept science or agree with scientists on many issues. I do, however, also believe that there are things the defy science (Yes, I believe in miracles. I have experienced them personally in my life and in my family/friends lives). Furthermore, I don't live my life by the Bible, as I agree that there are contradictions and that there are stories in the Bible that I don't like and disagree with, but I don't think that gives me the right to think that I am intellectually superior to anyone as many atheists seem to feel. The funny thing is that many atheists end up having the same traits as the religious people they often criticize: judgmental, arrogant, biased and condescending. Jem I will leave you with this answer to the same questions you are bringing up here from my earlier post: There are many hard evidence from fossil today that actually show how hominids(human) species have been changing over time and we are still changing today. In fact some scientist are now saying that we are evolving into homo-evolutis today which is expect it to be the species that take direct control of their bodies in some sense. The fossil evidence dates back some 6-7 million years ago and shows how we evolved from Sahelanthropus tchadensis to homo-sapiens. Once again I encourage you to watch BBC series which is free on youtube called "What Darwin didn't know?". Atheist are not taking a "arrogant view" on the contrary religious people do, because the simple fact that somebody question their beliefs simply boils their blood, Why? What in the world makes religious people think that they CANNOT be question? Why should the bible be the default book to answer any gap in knowledge and when it lacks evidence from beginning to end in all of it's claims. In fact most contradiction on the bible have been discovered by science. You are confusing two different topics into 1. Atheism and Evolution are two very different things. Enjoy this link : http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/homs/species.html First and foremost I have asked you a series of questions and not one did you answered but rather continued to overlook and dismiss it and only focused on the controversial biblical topics which tended to supports your thesis. Secondly, yes atheism and evolution are two different things. However, what do you mean by different? Are you saying God used Evolution of create man? You can't both believe in God and Evolution. They are opposing ideas. Thirdly, I would not be one bit surprised if the Pope believes in Evolution. Am I suppose to be impressed by that? If anything it would totally discredit all believers of Evolution. Don't you know that the Catholic church is in crisis? They have been unmasked for the atrocities committed against humanity. And today for the rampant sexual abuse against minor children. Man you should use some one else more worthy to support athiest dogmas. And besides I am against organized religion anyways, however I do believe in the principles that the bible teaches as wise, timeless and infallible. But materialists and technocrats fail to see its worth. Atheism and evolution are 2 different things. Atheism is the lack of believe in any supernatural being and evolution is simply the explanation of how we all share a common ancestor based on evidence collected over more than 150 years by many scientist. Evolution is accepted by many people religious and atheist. Just because I mostly talk about your Jesus here doesn't necessarily means I have any special feeling for another religion. I will give you another chance here to ask your questions and I will answer them honestly but then I have some question for you and must answer them honestly. Please ask question in a numbered manner to make it easier! Deal? Edited on 9/14/2011 11:34 PM by Belly. "People who don't like their beliefs being laughed at shouldn't have such funny beliefs" |
