The Haitians of years past came, stay and took what we had achieved with a lot of sacrifice. The Haitians of today come and stay and take full advantage of what we have achieved with a lot of sacrifice. Please tell me the difference again. Maybe you can explain it with the Kosovo example. The Albanians were in Kosovo in great numbers and yet they had no even one substantial political movement or organization that Serbia could point at. Do you know what happened? If you ALREADY know that Haitians do not represent any benefits for the majority of Dominicans, especially for the poorest, what is all your talk about being God’s children, human beings and the words and symbols in our coat of arms as excuses for they being here? The one who still seem not to grasps that the majority of the illegal immigration is no business, except for themselves, is you. Check the approximated number of illegal immigrants and how many work in construction, farming and how many are liberally employed, that is work for themselves, and maybe you would understand. The "buscones" are outside government offices to help Dominicans, who read and write, to obtain free documents, so of course the Haitians would promise Haitians great salaries and facilities, while the Dominicans would promise to help them get from the border to their destinations, so what? Now you saw how the migration progressed throughout the years. Do you seriously believe that DR Government or the DR buscones had a hand in everyone of those 200,000 Haitians getting to DR by 1980 or that the 70,000 that escaped to DR after Aristide in 1991 and the ones coming after the earthquake were promised good jobs in DR and that is the reason they came? But you can only talk about how the Dominican Government contributed to the problem and also has to contribute to fix it. WHAT ABOUT THE HAITIAN GOVERNMENT? Didn’t they create and contribute to the problem? Where is the part they contribute to fix it? Keep trying to cover the sun with your pinky. Deportation is the issue, it doesn’t matter how is done, it would be wrong. The why is redundant. They need to go back to their country, we cannot have so many here, our systems simply can no support them and they are a menace to our survival as people and nation. Precisely I don’t want to live in fear of Haitians; trust me I wish there were a clear conspiracy or plot to "take over", because that would be real easy to fight. The horrible thing is that they are just like the Albanians in Kosovo, with no conspiracy, plot or substantial political movement or organization. That is the really scary part, that they don’t need anything, just sheer numbers and they are rapidly achieving them. |
