Those who fail to learn the lessons of history are doomed to repeat it. Unfortunately, due to poor leadership, that means us. We need to stop blaming politicians for their corrupt behavior and accept the responsibility for putting them in power. Here's your leadership. Just look because the writing is on the wall. Yes, indeed. We have a very demented set of personalities wanting the leadership positions in our otherwise ill fated island. but sadly this is just Par for the Course for both sides. Those of us who see the country fail and do nothing about it, are as bad or worse than those promoting corrupt politicians into office. DR can longer be saved by putting a bandage, it needs a complete 180 degrees turn in direction. whats worth growing the economy if decades after decades we still have 50% poverty rate and no end in sight . Couldn't agree with you more. We are worse than the corrupt politicians, and we only have ourselves to blame, we sit around and do nothing while politicians ruin the country and then blame the others. |

Just reading what you say, your words expressed in almost poetic language, brings a chill down my spine. Gives me a spooky feeling as if a premonition of a tragic upcoming event.........is about to become true.......................to reality............ Edited on 9/16/2011 10:57 PM by guillermone. |
