I used to queue 3 hours after a 9 hour flight - no nun. Once after we had been circling overhead for an hour over a thunderstorm when we did eventually land they wouldn't let us off the plane because they had o buses and it was too dangerous to walk 300 yards to the terminal. London Airport with 5 terminals is usually moderately efficient although 1/2 hour queues can be possible at peak times. Of course Dominican airports are a dream - no wait on 90% of occasions. S,. You can not compare those two |

Thank god other airlines have expanded flights to DR and increase the competition. The taxes are too high when traveling from USA to DR on top of the fact that Americans have to buy that $10 visa to enter Edited on 10/4/2011 11:52 AM by xwill7. |

The taxes are too high when traveling from USA to DR on top of the fact that Americans have to buy that $10 visa to enter 10 dollars is cheap. US charges 14$ to Europeans entering the US under the 'Visa Waiver Progam' - not very generous for the richest country in the World! Once in the DR prices are often 1/2 of those in the US so who begrudges a little tax - most ends up in the US treasury I suspect. S. |
