Hi, I'm a DR resident and very concerned with this issue. I work for a manufacturing american company and we need to advance in this issue. Why, because in my role of mechanical parts fabrication in a machine shop it is currently that for make a quotation you need to develop the idea that turns in a detailed sketch or drawing, then you present the quote with the detailed sketches and people here in DR takes your idea to give to others causing detriment to you and you can not do anything. I'm trying to go to ONAPI (Oficina Nacional de la Propiedad Industrial) to know how are the patents and to know if my inventions and ideas gets a patent it can be used to defent against law.
