That is a terrible situation for a small town to be be controlled by a foul group of delinquents and I imagine that the situation will end in some people dying as the residents or the poilce prepare them selves against the delinquents ,,,Yes they work in the day time and at night and personally I think they should be treated as dangerous animals and shot . That method seems to work well in the DR

Swift justice seems to be the only measure that the enboldened criminals understand. Ain't it a shame?

It's as if what's really needed is going back to the represseve tactics that the despots used?

The days of LOS CASCOS BLANCOS? La Banda? Los PicoChatos y Calieses?

The prospect is disturbing.

Im telling you guys, This is out of Control. Imagine working your ass off bleeding, and sweating so that your crops grows healthy and plentiful, just to have some good for nothing vagabond steal the fruits of your hard labor! There's no respect there. My grandma has her mother house which unfortunately nobody is living in it, but there is alot of fruit producing trees and the people in that area have the galls to steal them! they make openings through a plant barrier where there are also barbed wires, but that doesnt stop them. there is also a little creek and these bastards go there and leave behind dirty rags, and diapers on the edge. Such lack of courtesy and respect! Im telling you these people with savage mentality!.

Perez,

I can remember when we didn't have so many people like that. It's the "taker" mentality. When I was little most of the thieves were ladrones de cordeles; they would steal clothes off the clothes lines when they hung out to dry. But, beyond that no major crimes were commited like now. (Most people respected private property.)
Now, you hear it al the time: "I gotta get mine; If I have to I'm taking mine".
This is nothing new, just that so many people share this erroneous opinion. It's like there is a looting school somewhere that is teaching people to take what's not theirs (Spanish saying:lo ajeno llora por su dueño).

Sooo true what you said Guarucoya. And what pisses me off the most is that many of these people have enough space to plant fruit trees in their property, But never do because they have their eyes on those who do have them!. Hijos de sus m#drina!
