RE: Haitian Invasion of the Dominican Republic
Tupapaupa, conversation with you appears to be a pointless activity, because, even when you get it, you do not get it. Mr Lautaro might engage in anti haitian exchanges, but strives to keep the acoustics civil . as a matter of fact, his commentary is usually directed to the individual, not disparaging an entire nation. and, like Ladronaso, the content of the post is not riddled with some testosterone laden rants, befitting a hoodlum street fight in the park. on a lark, ladronaso tried to throw the thread off track, predicting that it would just deteriorate into yet another mud slinging olympics. well, it did not work, because it appears that people prefer to be anti-intellectual, and just spit lazy invectives. well, the eyes of the world are on us. do you realise what other people must opine when they look at this site? every other thread had to do with Haiti, and the same usual suspects regurgitate the same crap ,unrelievedly. people must wonder if anyone here has a life!!

No papacito, I DO GET IT.

What I don't get, for the life of me, is the constant bitching from you guys when posts are not written they way you want them to be written.

Who in hell died and made you guys The Moral Police?.

ANYBODY with a little "intellect" in them knows that a person's way of writting on the internet has NOTHING to do with their REAL LIFE "intellect".

Now get a grip and get off your high horse.

Btw: let me make it clear to you (or whomever), I am not going to allow you (or whomever) to fuck around with my freedom of speech right!. So get over it.

well, ladronaso, manhattanite, Mr lautaro, cibaeno, we gave it a shot. i see where there are just too many readers who are more interested in exchanging gratuitous insults than learning something. as they say; where ignorance is bliss, it is folly to be wise.

It really is comical. Imagine surfing through the net stumbling across DominicanToday.com seeing the diverse topic headers and story titles, it would leave one to think “I wonder what is going on here?” “I wonder what interesting conversation could be occurring on this site?” The surfer still remembering his lackluster experience in his last and only visit to Dominican Republic ponders for just a second, thinks , NAAH, then capitulates to Curiosity. Curiosity beckons the click of the mouse. As the pages fill anticipation builds and there is a sudden surge of inquisitive hunger overflowing the banks of the cerebral cortex. With eyes wide open still gleaning the pages and as the flash media loads, he begins to think of the opportunities that lay just ahead of that next page. Opportunities to learn more Dominican Culture and to dig deeper into the Dominican Psyche. "This could add another dimension to my understanding of Dominicans" he thinks while waiting for those pages to fill.

Well unbeknown to him he will be introduced to a collection of reasons behind the SAD State of Dominican Republic. And realize these people are just as ass backwards and pitiful on the net as they are in real life.

I took a break fro Dr1.com to get Dominican perspective on alot of issues. Boy oh boy!

DT, don't let Dominican sites by foreigners blow you out of the water.

Just because he's passive and and chooses to take no action he thinks he's better and more educate than there of us... us, the realist, who can, based on history and current situation try to predict a future scenario of what might happened in DR in the next generation or so. We are the true patriots who seek to maintain our culture and value and are not so emotional to people who have done us wrong in the past. when DR become overrun with haitians to the point of balkanization I wonder what his stand would be ???

Haitians like Dominicanation still see DR as rightfully theirs... They dream of empire... and since we border them guess who the subjects are ??? they have try many times before to take it and turn us into 2nd class citizen... they reason they havent' is because they can't but if they could... THEY WOULD...

Dominicanation need to be reported to the goverment. All his posts have to be brought up to the public. He needs to be turned in. THe goverment should held this blog responsible for not informing the goverment of terrorist threats.
Can you imagine if in the US someone post something like that?

Everyone, please, report dominicanation to the authority. Crazy or not. Do not take this lightly.

Hay Lad.
Do you write professionally, en serio. The way you described that characterization was amazing. Reminds me of myself sometimes. That was pretty good.
