To me personally, the above is wonderful news. This dirtbag who was a henchmen of the horrible dictatorship down there did everyone a favor and put himself out of his misery. As for the wife's assertion that she has documents that prove her husband's innocence, yea right. A man with proof of his innocence is not going to put a bullet in his head on live TV. Who knows how many innocents this dirtbag helped torture or eradicate? The man lived as a coward and died as one. Amen to that.

He did take the Coward way out,

Coward sure, but there's some iota of honor in it. I wonder if he struggled with his evil deeds for years or whether he just couldn't stand to lose face. The answer might be in the interviews.

#1 What part of "Alledged" do you not understand?

#2 If he killed and tortured Communists then what crime was committed?

Are you aware that the latin american definition of "communist" encompassed any citizen that wasn't an oligarch, or are you making yourself the village idiot, as always?

I believe that the best thing would've been if he could've been punished for what he had done, and that this was just better than no punishment at all (no, living with the knowledge of what he had done is not enough). And they were not communists, anyone could be a target back then. If you didn't think like the regime, you could be a target, I agree that people should learn about what happened in Argentina during that time before they speak
