A Look at Her Immigration Policies as Arizona Governor


President-elect Barack Obama is on track to name Arizona Gov. Janet Napolitano as homeland security secretary. Napolitano is a two-term governor, as well as a former U.S. attorney and state attorney general for Arizona. She was the first governor to call for National Guard troops to secure the US-Mexico border. We take a look at her immigration policies with Aarti Shahani, a researcher with Justice Strategies.

With luck US will move to open boarder policy. It is US cheap corn ( subsidised ) that has driven Mexicans from their farms and it is only fair that they should be be able to move to US. I had a US mananger once that had moved to US without process to work on the farms at 14, passed engineering degrees at CalTech and been high up in a US corporatation. US will benefit from energies of these people and be a model for the rest of the World.

It will make more sense for Mexicans to work in factories in the US where consumption take place than truck product huge distances from the Mexican border.
Stupid US commentators cannot see this logic. Democrats can open borders. US prosperity will increase hugely as the undoubted natural resources of the US are combined with a much larger labour force, US can once again have the World's highest skyscrapers and can develop fast total alternative energyc systems that does not trash the planet. This huge jump will enable US to export these products and technology all over the globe.
After all before the Alamo much of Texas was Mexican.

Some really mean US politicians would deprive my US friends of the extra income they get when they rent their large garages to North American Mexicans, How mean can you get? Good, most of the Dow is stupid Republican companies producing things no-one needs. Investors will get the message to move away from the sick producers of gas-guzzlers in their private planes and the MacMansion crowd.
