I want to get a clear overview of Dominican politicians and other public figures whom you trust (until now)
Please post names and why you think they need to be on this list. (I´m pretty sure it will be a short one )...

I will start off with Peravia Senator Wilton Guerrero, for obvious reasons.

I think your post should have been

A list of corrupt Dominican Politicians or Public figuires who are the least corrupt .
untill now. they are all corupt
no sirven.

Scratch Wilton out of your list. He is too flamboyant and a publicity hound. I think he is trying to attract
too much attention on himself and is largely a by-product of the media.
Can't really think of any more that are public that I can trust......I guess there are not many without a
long "tail" that follows them wherever they go.

Coco, But he could be undercover and hasn't been revealed.

Miguel Cocco has done an outstanding job in the customs department as far as collections.
There have been "rumors" about wrongdoings involved the purchase without tender of the new
aduana building and other favors he has dispensed to friends.
Historically he was a revolutionary member of "Los Palmeros" a far left organization that preached
revolution and violence.
Recently he was involved with PLD negotiations with Balaguer while he was alive and became a
close confidant and intermediary of the PLD with Balaguer in his last years.
He was instrumental in PLD-PRSC negotiations close in with real shady figures such as king maker
Manuel Guaroa Liranzo who was the man behind the throne during Balaguer, and the chief financeer.
Trust? Let me think about it.........

I dont believe you actually believe Dominiican politicians could be trusted. Dominicans trusted? Trust Dominican politicans, trusted Domiican politicians. doesnt exist.

I don't trust anyone of them .

I hope to get into politics eventually. I vow never to live in a big house or anything like that. I want to show that there are Dominican politicians who are incorruptible and set an example.

That said, I wouldn't trust any politician, Dominican, American, whatever, until they earn that trust. Generally the more materialistic and money loving the politician, the less trustworthy they are.

Getting into politics in DR without a strong support network will only undermine any bit of integrity and ethics you have left. As ALL DOMINICAN POLITICIAN are corrupt. They are fecal matter. If not initially, definitely by the time they resign.
