I miss the part of this thread where you apoligize for saying "the dominican guy most pay" Must have been from another thread, here it is.... , I apologize for my hurry comment Oh! wow antonio Bravo, just because some idiots post something on a website claiming that the video was not shot in DR doesn't make it true. It's only natural for the Dominican gov. to deny it. Do you think that they would ever come out with the truth come on stop being an ignorant fool. I say the video is real and it was a Dominican cutting off the hands of a Haitian just like the title suggested. Antonio if you are so quickly to accept this little lie from the Dominicans claiming that it is not them then I guess you also believe that Santa Claus does exist Edited on 12/12/2008 2:04 PM by Dominicanation. |

Antonio if you are so quickly to accept this little lie from the Dominicans claiming that it is not them then I guess you also believe that Santa Claus does exist Listen, I posted this and I'll be the first to say that it's a fake. I posted it after watching it with the volume on really low on my comp hence I wasn't able to distinguish the accents on the video which are clearly not Dominican as several posters have pointed out. it's hoax confirm in HaitiXchange http://www.haitixchange.com/index.php/hx/Articles/hoax-video-alleges-torture-of-haitian-in-dominican-republic/ Like I said that video went viral, I received it twice in my email Edited on 12/13/2008 5:25 PM by antonioj. We must accept finite disappointment, but never lose infinite hope. |

This footage clearly shows an already amputee human being , being punished, being stripped of his humanity. No one has the right to do this. It doesn't matter where, or by whom. I have been in the Dominican Republic, and I know for a fact that Haitians do not have any human rights in that country and are treated like second class citizens. Stuff like this not only happens in the Dominican Republic but accross many countries, in Asia, Africa, and Latin America. My friends, it does not matter where this happen or who did it, but that this sort of thing is happening. And for my Dominican friends, don't be offended, the Dominican Republic has many beutiful people and a awsome culture. But it's politics and government do stink ; even with it's own people and no one can deny this. Let's unite and do something about all this injustices that are happening not only in the Dominican Republic towards Haitians, but find a way to support your local human rights organization. Don't forget that Brazil and the Dominican Republic are very high in Domestic VIolence and very little is being done for the Dominican Women and Children, so to help the Dominican men curve their aggressive behavior. Frieds, let's think about this a little bit better Peace |
