To all Dominicans, stop being racist, stop wanting haiti to become a prosperous, modern, booming nation, let's joint themand become another 3rd world hell hole, just like our African fathers wanted it. That's the right, politicly correct, avant guard, post modern, I'm an intellectual wanna be writer for the Miami Herald, I hate the world 'cause I am black and have kinki hair thing do. Amen Just like Rhodesia ceased to exist and transformed itself in the 3rd world abomination called Zimbabwe. Sorry about the comparison, but I can't help but believing this as the days are passing, cuz' our government, military and businessmen (the men flooding the country with inmigrant cheap labour in the first place) have decided that they don't care if the DR goes to hell as long as they get to make their profits at the end of the day. The very same people that mr. Dom and arkatype can't cease to praise with their Boom in the DR and Santo Domingo threads. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that in a society where soon the people in misery will vastly outnumber the ones well off (in a proportion of 15 million people in poverty against more or less 3 million well off) it's the perfect grounds for a civil conflict to unfold. Living in slave societies is the same as living in house filled to the top with barrels of gunpowder, the only thing wanting for a disaster to happen is a spark to ignite it. As the Comte de Mirabeau would say about the colonists of Saint Domingue (something that could be applied to us as well): "They live at the foot of the Vesuvius (the volcano), and they just don't know it". Arkatype, Said Is not our fault Haiti is a total disaster it's not our fault that they have a high birthrate and high illiteracy rate. Now i will agree it is our fault that we hire them for work that should be occupied by dominicans. The problem is dominican's don't want to do certain jobs for such low wages. And those job's are being done by illegal haitians that have no opportunities of employment in there home country. I disagree with you that we are smuggling haitians to do certain jobs, that's a total crock. These people cross our border by their own free will, some to work others to steel or cut trees for charcoal, or commit other crimes, or to give birth to there babies. The question i have is why do we have a military, The whole army should be doing two things which they could do efficiently. Massively deport haitians and guard the border, while we erect a fortified wall. It can be done forget about investing the money for some project that dont benefit the country as a whole. Let's fix this illegal haitian problem today, before we become "Balkanized " tommorow. Edited on 12/13/2008 2:49 AM by arkatype. You are the light of truth ARKATYPE |

I just wanted to give you the "heads up". Arkatype, Said That's all you 'highly educated haitians' can say right? You are the light of truth ARKATYPE |

Funny how Arky Darky gets to title his post "Haitian Cannibalism & other Anomalies" As I recall last month I titled one of my post " Dominican Cannibalism" and it was deleted 1 hour later and my post was in reference to the Dominican boat people eating each other at sea. WOW Dominicantoday. wow. |
