RE: Zeitgeist II Addendum
I enjoyed watching parts of Zeitgeist I & II out of curiosity, but however when they start talking about banking they seem to dive off the deep end. Though they make some good points about the dangers of central banks they also often make statements about the nature of money and fractional reserve banking that make it seem like these things are black magic or some deep secret. I'll never understand that portion of the population that are so reactionary and terrified of fiat money...it's like they have read just enough finance and economics to understand some things, but then never looked around them to see that economies do operate under fiat money, nor do they ever consider drawbacks of gold/precious metal standards.
I'm sorry, I can't hear you over the sound of how awesome I am.
