Lets see if it passes the test. Wait and revisit in a year after opening , after people have been riding with their goats and chickens.

Does anyone know if there are any restrooms in the stations?
Why wont Dominican Republic prosper?

Because Dominicans are just plain too..............

I admit I've never been down there, but it surely looks good. I hope they can provide a quality sevice and most importantle that the mantainance is kept in good levels and they don't turn the place to a public market.

it sure looks impressive. i hope for the sake of the people, who had to forego more essential services, that it works to higher than expected levels of success. because, it has been a heck of a sacrifice made by the people of Bonao, and Montecristi, and Arroyo Hondo, who get no benefit from it, and had to give up their share of the budget.

I hope the president finishes all the lines proposed of the metro soon... Then he should raise the price of Oil to match $100.00 us dollar to fill a tank...That way all motherfuckers, like my cousin can stop using his fucking car for the smallest of errands and use the Metro... That way we'll keep the oil bill down... And las remesa se quedaran en el pais....

FINISH THE METRO!!!!

RE: Santo Domingo Subway.
Do you say it looks nice? How would you look after spending in yourself RD$40 billions?

This is very strange.

Why nobody is thinking about the necessary allowance?

It was needed a lot of money for that project (and now desperately we need that money, so desperately some people is trying to use pension funds for government projects) but it is going to cost us RD$ 3 billons a year additionally to take that people from Villa Mella to La Feria and vice versa, while we still have transportation problems in the rest of the country.

If you do not have shoes but it is so important for you to drive a Mercedes Benz then enjoy it… at least as long as you can.
