SANTO DOMINGO SUBWAY | LINE 2 | STATION 14 (E14) - AVE. JOHN F. KENNEDY AND AVE. MAXIMO GOMEZ INTERCEPT AND LINE 1'S JUAN PABLO DUARTE STATION | CONSTRUCTION UPDATES

As you can see in the very first picture, the second line's station will also be named "Juan Pablo Duarte", similar to the intercepting Line 1.

RE: Santo Domingo Subway.
So if I understand corretly; there is a first line, they are working on a second one and a thirth one is also going to be build? Doesn't that pretty much cover Santo Domingo entirely?
Aruing on the internet is like playing chess with a chicken. No matter how good I am at chess; the chicken is just going to knock over all the pieces, crap all over the board and strut around like it's victorious.

nooo, santo domingos way bigger then 3 lines would effectively cover. 6 lines are planned to be constructed but i think i 7 or 8 lines would be more efficient.

Bogota, Colombia is instituting a policy that eliminates horse drawn carts from the roads.

Horse-drawn carts in Colombia will be banned from 2013

Colombian authorities are set to ban animal-drawn vehicles in the streets from February 2013.

While some "zorreros" - as the drivers of horse-drawn carts are known - are reluctant to see their way of life disappear, animal rights groups and drivers are pressing authorities to enforce the legislation.

BBC Mundo's Arturo Wallace reports.

"If you want to sleep well at night, it's best to avoid watching the making of sausages or politics." Otto Von Bismarck

William Arthur Ward - "The pessimist complains about the wind; the optimist expects it to change; the realist adjusts the sails.
