LOL. If you read what I said "think indepentantly of his parents" they people who tried to shape his/her thoughts. Of course teens have a peer group and try to fit in. BUt today even there we find many peer groups. Preppies, skaters, grunge, goth etc. so you do not see thousands the same - that would be the 1960's.
