Yes I know, I couldn't be happier about the way this all turned out. I've already spoken to three of the family members on the phone so far, and it was such a thrill to hear their voices again after such a long time. It also made my heart ache a little bit, because we live so far away from each other now. I've seen recent photos of two of them so far and I'm dying to see what the others look like too. Now comes the fun of keeping in touch via e-mail, MySpace, Facebook, or by snail mail. It's been exciting to hear about all their chlldren & grandchildren too. Who knows, perhaps one day we'll be able to travel to see each other again in person. I firmly believe that everything in life happens for a reason, so it will be interesting to see what develops from this renewed friendship.

Sorry Lucie, but that doesn't look like General Montes Arache to me. I thought it was a bad picture,
but that is somebody else.
I know the general and have seen him recently so I can tell.
The general is shorter and not so fat and hair is white.

I was sort of wondering about that, because the guy in the photo doesn't look familiar to me at all, but I wasn't quite sure since I haven't seen him for so long. Thanks for the link, I'll check that out right away!
